What are Team Building Days?

HFHGBR Team Building Days are an opportunity for groups to have an enriched team-building experience while volunteering on a Habitat construction site. Team Building Days increase morale and allow groups to improve communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

HFHGBR created the Team Building Days programs in order to match the need for affordable housing with the demand for group volunteer opportunities. The program allows organizations to encourage teamwork among their employees, while building homes and hope in our community.

Why should my company participate in a Team Building Day?

Habitat Team Building days are an excellent way to get out of the office for fresh air, exercise and to strengthen bonds with coworkers. Building with Habitat produces tangible and long-term results. Habitat homes provide stability to families and their communities. You will be able to drive past the house for years to come and say ¨We help build it¨.

 

How much does a Team Building Day cost?

Roofer’s Day- $2,500
For a group of 10-19 volunteers
Only available on Tuesdays

Carpenter’s Day- $5,000
For a group of 20-29 volunteers
Available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

Builder’s Day- $10,000
For a group of 30-50 volunteers
Available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

  • Volunteers will recive lunch on site as well as a framed photo of their group.
  • Team Building Days must be scheduled at least 30 days in advance.
  • If you must cancel a team Building Day, you must cancel at least 7 days before your scheduled day.
  • Payment for a Team Building Day must be received ay least 10 days before your scheduled day.
