Donate to the ReStores

The ReStores of Greater Baton Rouge accept donations Tuesday – Saturday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at either location.  For large items that cannot fit in your car, we would be happy to come pick those up!  Please call (225) 315-0127 or click the button below to schedule a pickup!

(Please note that as an extra safety measure for our customers and employees, we will only pick up donated items that are outside your home or business.)

We Accept:

  • Furniture: 

    • Sofas, chairs, tables, bedroom furniture, bookshelves, coffee & end tables, desks, TV stands

  • Appliances

    • Refrigerators, stoves, ovens, window unit air conditioners, washers & dryers, microwaves, cooktops, range hoods, small appliances

  • Cabinets

    • Kitchen, bath, countertops, knobs

  • Building Materials *

    • Doors, windows, shutters, plywood, insulation, lumber, trim, fencing

    • *Note: Lumber and trim must be free of nails and rot, minimum length 5′

  • Flooring (minimum 100 sq ft.)

    • Tile, carpet (unused), wood, laminate, area rugs, vinyl tiles

  • Lighting

    • Hard-wired fixtures, ceiling fans, floor & table lamps

  • Plumbing supplies

    • Toilets, sinks, tubs, showers, shower doors, pipes & fittings, towel bars & accessories

  • Hardware

    • Hinges, door knobs, deadbolts, fasteners, lawn & garden, power tools, hand tools, outdoor equipment

  • Housewares

    • Kitchen goods, serving pieces, home dècor items, framed mirrors, artwork

  • Misc. items

    • Sports & exercise equipment, game tables, books, games, seasonal items, antiques, costume jewelry

We Cannot Accept:

  • Baby items

  • Tube TVs

  • Clothing

  • Bedding

  • Dishwashers manufactured prior to Jan. 1st, 2014

  • Chemicals & hazardous materials

  • Hot tubs & spas

  • Cast iron bathtubs

  • Cultured marble vanity tops

  • Non working electronics or appliances

  • Unframed mirrors

ReStore
