Making a Custom Greenhouse with Help from the ReStore

Today, we’re spotlighting a ReStore Southeast customer who completely built his greenhouse with products from the ReStore.

Have you always wanted a jungle in your backyard? Are you envious of those plant Queens and Kings? One of our ReStore Southeast shoppers bought dozens of donated windows and turned them into their own Better Homes & Gardens worthy Greenhouse.

Greenhouses help shield plants, whether ornamental or edible, from extreme temperatures and unwanted pests. They allow gardeners to grow plants year round, no matter what zone you’re in.

If you’ve always dreamed of becoming an expert gardener, you can build your own greenhouse too! The Habitat ReStore locations of Greater Baton Rouge have lots of donated sinks, windows, doors, and counter space to help get your next project started.

Habitat ReStore North and Southeast of Baton Rouge are operated by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge. Proceeds from the ReStore are used to help build homes for low-income families through Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge.
