Habitat is a partnership founded on common ground— bridging theological differences by putting love into action. Everyone can use the hammer as an instrument to manifest God’s love. Habitat’s late founder, Millard Fuller, called this concept “the theology of the hammer.” “We may disagree on all sorts of other things,” said Fuller, “but we can all agree on the idea of building homes with God’s people in need, and in doing so using biblical economics: no profit and no interest.”
Habitat is blessed to have partnerships with churches of many denominations, which are all drawn to Habitat’s founding concept, putting love into action.

An Adopt-a-Week Sponsorship helps pay for the construction materials needed each day during the selected week on the worksite. Consider making this a week for your employees to have a new “perk” by providing them with an opportunity to get involved in their community.
As an Adopt-A-Day Sponsor, you help pay for the construction materials needed for one day on the worksite while participating in a natural team-building activity.
