Women Build

Building Homes. Empowering Women. Changing Lives.

For more than 20 years, Women Build has brought women together to build strength, stability and opportunity in Greater Baton Rouge. Since our first Women Build, more than 5,000 volunteers have helped build 20 homes in 10 neighborhoods, creating safe, affordable places to call home for 20 local families—including 23 adults and 32 children.

But Women Build has always been about more than building houses. It’s about women picking up hammers, learning new skills, stepping into leadership and working side by side to make a lasting difference in our community.

This October, we’re proud to kick off our 21st Women Build and begin the next chapter of this incredible legacy. Together, we’ll continue building homes, empowering women and creating brighter futures for families across Greater Baton Rouge.
