Youth Build

The Albemarle Foundation sponsored its 17th Habitat Youth Build last Fall. Construction kicked off on Sept. 16th with volunteers from Catholic High School, Episcopal High School and St. Joseph’s Academy. Students and teachers from Catholic, Episcopal and St. Joseph’s have partnered with Habitat on the Youth Build since 2001. The student volunteers are led by skilled crew leaders and are involved in nearly every aspect of the construction, gaining valuable skills and learning first-hand that everyone deserves a decent place to live and raise a family.
